Oh My Deer

We’re working hard on the office, it’s taking longer than hoped for that that’s more to do with the fact that sorting office stuff and attaching doors is about as uninspiring as it gets. It feels nice in here though and I’m spending more time here than I have in ages.

I finally finished a painting I’ve been working for months. Called “Where Did You Go” it’s about the loss of someone who is still there but not with you, not like they used to be. And not because you didn’t want them, they didn’t want you.

Chaise and I did a painting each.

Happy To Be Blogging

I thought was lost forever after my hosting company stopped replying to my emails and it lapsed. Thankfully it didn’t get picked up by someone who wanted to sell it back to me at an inflated cost and I re bought it this week. So here it is and I hope to post more in the future.

I had the week off work so got to spend lots of quality time with the kids and redecorating our office. There’s been so much rain, the creek flooded several times, Jordan got extensions put in, I walked chaise home from school every day it didn’t rain and Chaise let me do her hair nicely for the first time in years today.

During an ad for The Block they showed the MS Mega Home Lottery House and there was a shot of my paintings which were featured throughout the house.

This was taken four years ago. We were so delighted with our cake. We’re not cake eaters in the family but make the exception for rainbow coloured cakes.
